Back on the blipping wagon......

I’ve still taken a photo every day as I was doing a 365 of me during 2013, but my ‘normal’ 365 kind of fell by the wayside a bit early September. At some point I’ll fill in the 150 or so day gap, but for now I’m just going to pick up from where I should be, but I won't be adding in the text!!

For the last two years I’ve strolled round Castle Hill Park on New Year’s Day and done a maintenance walk on my caches. But as I archived the series last year and the weather didn’t look all that inviting, I’ve stayed indoors all day. I know many people will be horrified by what I’ve done today as I’ve spent all day cleaning. Some people think you should clean as you ‘wash away luck’ for the new year, there’s also a superstition that you shouldn’t throw anything out or wash your hair. But, I’m not superstitious so I’ve done all three & more besides. However, the superstitious aren’t the ones who will be really shocked by what I’ve done today, that pleasure belongs to those who really know me as I hate cleaning with a passion & try to do as little as possible of it.

The lounge isn’t completely tidy, but it’s a darn sight better that it was. Tomorrow evenings ’s mission will be to finish it off & then see if I can keep it that way, for a while at least. So, while the floor’s clear (ish), today’s picture is of me in the lounge.
