Blue Winter

Winter uses all the blues there are.
One shade of blue for water, one for ice,
Another blue for shadows over snow.
The clear or cloudy sky uses blue twice-
Both different blues. And hills row after row
Are colored blue according to how for.
You know the bluejay's double-blur device
Shows best when there are no green leaves to show.
And Sirius is a winterbluegreen star.
Do you ever see something in nature that just leaves you speechless? I'm sure that is different things to each of us but this morning with the light at a very low angle I saw these beautiful ice patterns on my husband's truck's window. Although it snowed in the mountains, it rained down below and then froze on most surfaces. I'm glad I took the photo...for then it was gone.
