St-Octave-de-L'Avenir
Or what used to be... It's now a "Village Plein-Air", a coop operated vacation spot. With the recent construction of a 14-room auberge, they can now provide all the services for conferences and the likes.
It used to be a small parish founded in the 1930's and closed in 1971. The Canadian Armed Forces have maintained a cadets camp for several years but it is now closed as well.
This is where we are holding the SPPGIM's biyearly general meeting.
