BethaBlip 85...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

I think I've managed a small victory with Bethany's bedtime routine. We were going through a wee few weeks where she was really getting distraught after she was in bed, asking after her mum and crying. After a bit of reasoning with her and a couple of days with her mum being away at grannies house, I think we have her dealing with bedtimes brilliantly.

Christmas having been and gone, Bethany was getting quite wise to some of it. She found some of the presents from ' santa' that were not terribly well hidden under our bed. We had to re-wrap and hide them before the big day. She also cottoned a little too close to me trying to buy Haribo at the shop then Haribo appearing in the advent calendar. Talked my way around it but I just can't get away with some of the slight deceptions that I used to get away with. I did think that the the flour shaped foot prints from the fireplace to the christmas tree might have been a step too far but I got away with it and it's wasn't overly questioned.

I had to get pipe cleaners for a hat I'm making so I offered the ones I didn't use to Bethany and her brother. I suggested they could make glasses with them. This was the result.
