The Pixies

Went to see The Pixies at Brixton Academy this evening. Interestingly the conditions of entry now state that no "professional type" photography equipment can be taken into the venue. Which is a change from the old days of "no photography". I figure that there must have come a point when camera-phones and compact cameras are so ubiquitous that to even attempt to police the no photography policy becomes impossible. Thus - change the rules and stop the obvious "professionals".

It was very difficult to get good photos, but I managed to grab this of the video-wall behind the band. I love the alignment of the lights (Marlins?) and the slightly disturbing Mr Punch face.

It was a good gig too (and the support weren't bad either - The Big Pink).
