Blip #365 Grateful day 2.

The NHS often gets complained about. They make mistakes, some of them quite huge. I know !
These mistakes in the grand scheme of things are few compared to the amount of stuff they get right. The people who work for the NHS are, in the most, ordinary folk like you and me. They deserve far higher wages and many less hours, they are often forgotten by the patients they have worked so hard to help. Have you ever stopped at the A&E desk to say thank you to the nurses for being so helpful?

Today and everyday I am very grateful that we have the NHS.

These ladies were in attendance this morning at the mobile breast screening unit at Shiptonthorpe. They agreed to have their photo taken only if they could stand by this very clever X-ray machine and thus promote the importance of attending our regular check ups.
If you are being called in for the first time, please take no notice of the scare mongers out there.
