Please remove this candle

My cockatiel Mieke had managed to climb onto the piece of furniture that stands beside her cage but couldn't get any further because of a new candle that was standing on the corner of it.

This time I had an afternoon/evening shift at work and I was able to catch up on a few much-needed hours of sleep. After I got out of bed, Mieke wanted to get closer to me and I carried her around on my shoulder for a while until I had to get ready for work.
