Orange flower

Would you believe I thought this plant was a potato that I planted last summer? Then is grew a pretty bright orange flower! Surprise! Even though I keep forgetting to water the garden, it keeps on making more flowers and tomatoes.

I am reading "Otherwise Known As Sheila the Great" to the kids. I'm sure I read it when I was in fourth grade. I loved all the Judy Blume books. Ben is reading "Fudge" at school and reports to me about it every day.

Katrina has discovered the Junie B. Jones books. It cracks me up how much she is like Junie!

Well, off to bed with them! Hubby is finally on his way home. He's been working pretty late with the real end of tax season coming up on the 15th. It's been an extremely busy year for him.
