Greetings from Matimati...

I had the chance to meet Matimati today, a sperm whale who is a semi-resident of the Kaikoura coast.

Wow! I am still overly excited, even hours later... :)

Also, we bumped into a friend from Switzerland, what are the chances of that? (much less likely than seeing a whale on a whale watching tour).
We went for a very tasty pizza at Black Rabbit Pizza with him and his friends.

I got bitten by a bumblebee twice today. Now Philipp has to believe me that they do bite, I could show him the proof!
