Killing Time

Enduring a three hour delay at Las Vegas, these passengers are reading books, playing games, checking their mail and just simply waiting.

While waiting, I had a conversation with a very spry 98 year old who had fought in the Battle of the Bulge in WW II. He was wounded, captured and hospitalized by the German Army, and liberated by the Russians. He still has his old army field jacket with German markings on the back that identify him as a POW. He is very proud of the fact that "it still fits."
