High tide

This was a snap view of Ilfracombe harbour with the fishing boat clinging to its moorings as the sea escaped the harbour confines. Sky TV had been following the coastal surge throughout the day and the venue attracted many on lookers.

My friends and I took a stroll around Capstone Hill to negotiate Windy Corner followed by a a not too little soaking as the waves crashed over the sea walls. Unfortunately my phone decided to shut down after this shot so unable to produce any more images of the night. But sometimes the moments rather than the image seeking will remain in my memory and not digitally. That's life!
