A fun day spent outside. Well 3 hours of it anyway.

And wow, was it long overdue with all the sickness we have been inundated with lately.

I must say, I was not only impressed with the "big" kids, but S climbed over fallen trees, walked through tall grass, and was stuck by as many pucker bushes as me, and he didn't cry once.

We saw and played with:
leaf skeletons
big sticks
mossy trees
mushrooms
different kinds of animal poop (okay, we didn't play with this)
mud

And we climbed through a lot of tall grass and over many fallen trees.

And poor Bart almost suffered a broken leg had I not been standing right next to him.

Fortunately all was well and we had a grand time. Can't wait to do it again.
