A Strange Sky.

I was going to bore everybody to death with another Pele Tower in Cumbria (plus history) when the sky, which had a strange look to it in the distance, did this. This photo doesn't really do it justice. It was all pink, gold and mulberry stripes across the sky with a big patch of blue sky in a narrowish band in between them, followed by a band of fierce looking purple clouds behind. The whole sky seemed to be one big rainbow. Bad weather on the way? (good guess) or an omen?
