The Post-Christmas Austerity Can Wait!

Two meals out with great friends within twenty four hours!

Last night we went to G Wu in Chapel Allerton with Anne and John. Delicious Chinese food, friendly service and a Maître De with a wicked sense of humour and keen sense of taste. She changed our order to give a better balance of flavours - and she was right!

This afternoon we met Jan and Mike, Carole and Philip, and Linda and Alan at the Racehorses in Kettlewell. The intended walk was postponed due to inclement weather but Taylor's Landlord on tap and excellent pub grub with a twist made sure everyone left with a very warm feeling inside.
