New Toy

Some of you may remember that I was lucky enough to be given a Leica X2 for Christmas 2012 which was a fantastic and thrilling surprise. However, I really struggled with it, particularly the fixed focus and always having to edit a photo because I couldn't zoom where I wanted to. I was horrified that I had a fabulous and very expensive camera but didn't like it, and it took me around 3 months before I summoned up the courage to confess to N. Of course he'd known for a while and was extremely understanding, as always.
I did some research and decided to try a bridge camera, my only real requirement being a good quality zoom, preferably with a view finder. Consequently today I bought this Canon SX50,and am looking forward to trying out the monster zoom on the streets soon.


If anyone is interested in buying a hardly used Leica X2.....
