Another day, another pub.....

We had a long planned walk with friends today, but in view of the dreadful weather we decided we'd only get soaked so decided to cancel. However, we still had the booking for lunch so decided to meet up anyway. It was a bit of a trek for us to the Pot Kiln near Newbury, but the lunch was excellent. They specialise in Game so I had pigeon for starter and pave of fallow deer for my main course. The treacle tart was probably a step too far but it was so tempting......
