Getting one's head above the rest

The steps were put there, thoughtfully for the young children to get to look over the counter. I always remember when I was in a sweet shop and 'wantingly' looking up at my Father because I had no idea what was beyond the top of the counter.Nice touch by the owners, although I think this person is overdoing it a bit!
