Day 4 of Blipfoto - the 365 in 2014 is still on track!

Part of the reason I finally started blipping was the advent of a new iPhone (with app and a good camera - the iPhone 3G just wasn't cutting it any more!).

And most of the reason I have made it to Day 4 is that the first three blips were taken and uploaded on the iPhone 5S. It helped that I was out and about too, although I suspect I will struggle to post on boring days at work (and days like today when little happened...)

I broke a plug socket over Christmas and needed expert hand-holding in the field of high-voltage DIY. K and S came over and helped with the removal and replacement of said socket... and made it look awfully easy! LK cooked a chicken and her signature sea-salt and rosemary roast potatoes, so the electricians stuck around for dinner.

I received a case of "interesting beers" as a Christmas gift. There's no point tasting anything (beer, whiskey, food) alone as half the fun is bullshitting each other about the interesting flavours. So I opened the first two:

Kelpie seaweed ale and Hilden Twisted Hop pale ale.

Both interesting and delicious. Thanks V and I for the creative, high-percentage gift!

So this is the first staged pic of the project. Funny how I feel like i need to apologise for creating something with the SLR rather than capturing an impromptu moment.
