Flooding at Ross on Wye

Sunset over Ross on Wye, Herefordshire, where the River Wye has flooded following heavy rain this week. The waters have covered the whole flood plain, a huge area, but fortunately no houses have been affected. The landscape has been transformed. It'll take months for the land to recover though, even if the floods recede soon, which seems unlikely.
I'm surprised the floods around the country aren't bigger news, most papers are only running a page of 4-5 pics. After the Devon and Cornwall storms (great pics...) I think news desks will pick up on the flooding next week. I'll keep submitting pics from around here, and maybe get lucky.
