First Signs of Spring?

Even though it was raining this morning I took a few photos in the garden as I wanted to try and capture some rain droplets. This bush from next door that overhangs ours is showing the first signs of budding even this early in the year, and as it had two of three water drops as well, it made today’s blip.

This afternoon I had a drink in The Windmill with Roz, now returned from Ayr. We spent a pleasant couple of hours chatting about this and that.

This evening we had our annual neighbourhood Christmas get-together. There was mulled wine and plenty of nibbles and a good time was had by all, only just getting home now, midnight,, even though we only had to travel from next door.
