Camaraderie

I never played organized sports and athleticism wasn't ever my strength. Of course I was raised during the 50's and 60's (pre-Title 9). There were girls who did play and were athletic but it really wasn't encouraged though my dad was an avid baseball fan and player. My kids played sports from age 5 to high school and of course Logan has played in college. I love the whole team thing. The camaraderie, the all for one and one for all. I love the learning and the cooperation that is involved. I even love the competition. This is the pre-game hype before Logan's game this afternoon. I'm afraid it was another loss, but closer than the last game and the team (Eastern Connecticut) is ranked in 1st place in their conference. There was a team pot luck dinner after and the boys were happy to have home cooked food and each others company. It was nice to see.
