Milkweed Pods

Weedier in Large.

My outdoor photography has been interrupted by the gloomy conditions. (We have been natural-light challenged lately... One can only raise the ISO so high.) So, I decided to fall back on the milkweed pods I picked before the snow came and had stored in the garage. I love the textures and shapes, but I alway underestimate how hard an indoor setup will be. On the table, on the floor, standing up, laying down, one light, two lights, suspended backgrounds... on and on. I did count it as exercise though, as I held some pretty impressive yoga poses to get the props in the right position during the long exposure. ;)
