Posh - It's Not!

Our visitors from last night have a campervan. They spent the night camping near the Taylor Dam. I visited them this morning on my way to take the dogs for their walk. It was pouring with rain. The spot where they had camped was greasy with all the rainwater so they had moved down to park alongside the Taylor Dam itself.
C is a brilliant photographer and a sometime Blipper (Foxes). Being beside the Dam with all its birdlife was like being in heaven for her. Husband G is a keen reader so lying around reading a novel while C does photography suits him very well. It is a great way to holiday.
The campervan is to die for. It was built in 1973 and is retro to its last inch both inside and out. It has been in C’s family for getting on for thirty years. Both C and G say “It is a work in progress” as due to its venerable age it often needs maintenance. The camper is powered by a Toyota Hiace. I have an idea it was custom made.
I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with C and G …and talking more photography…. Whilst sipping a nice cup of coffee. Go well, back to home in Nelson, C and G. (I’ll see you on Blip sometime C…..)
