Taking the morning sun.

Down at the shore this morning and I came across Hamish and a pair of Widgeon. It looked like he was taking the early morning sun! The Widgeon were just doing what Widgeon do! Plus keeping him company. It was frosty this morning, -2 degrees C, but a nice sunny day all the same. Very settled from a couple of days ago. Life has returned to normal. I also saw a huge flock of Greenfinches just outside the village at the farm. There must have been 400 at least. They all came and landed on a couple of small trees. A lovely sight!
