Lamb's House detail

I know I ranted about the use of pantiles HERE, but they are sometimes appropriate :)

They look great in traditionally built houses if they have craw-step gables and white harling. Whether Lamb's House was originally harled is a different matter, but I do love the building now.

I particularly like that they have restored the windows, part-glazed above and shuttered below. It's still neglected and empty, though :(
