DDW Challenge January 2014 : seat

My MIL contacted me this week to ask if I would like to visit her church this weekend as they are about to renovate the interior.

As we got married in that church 20 years ago this September so it was quite interesting to go back and visit. I took a fair few photos as I wanted to email some to the minister for the church records. I chose this one to blip today as the challenge was seat.

It brought a whole new meaning to the words "take a pew" as some of the congregation were being offered the pews to take home with them!

Obviously it includes the seat where I sat at our wedding.
