Transplanting Lemon seedlings

This is Benidicto and Dave transplanting lemons. The seed was sown in beds and now they are ready for potting. This is a small part of our huge effort to produce 25,000 seedlings for the Ministry for Agriculture this year, as part of their push towards a bit of self sufficiency in fruit production, as at the moment almost all fruit on the market comes from either Zambia, Zimbabwe or South Africa.
During the year, these lemon root stock will be budded with improved variety citruses from our orchards.
