Around the lake

The boys started the day with a 7 miles walk around Sorø Lake. It was a grey and misty morning, but we still met lots of people, jogging, riding bikes or walking. I met one jogger, who obviously didn’t like dogs and was very rude. I got really cross with her and ended up giving her a less than polite answer before we marched off! She actually followed us for a little while still being very abusive in what she said to me. It took a while to shake it off me – why on earth will someone start an argument with a stranger that she only had to pass on a walking track???? Luckily everyone else were very nice and I had some lovely comments about the boys.

I had lunch when I came home and had a few things to sort before I spent the rest of the afternoon on the sofa with a cup of tea and a good book.
