Pine Cone

This pine cone is in a bouquet that was given to me on 20 Dec, its just starting to fade but with some fresh water and removal of a few items I think it will be OK for a few more days.

Been out in the garden planting bulbs (late I know, I guess they'll just flower a bit late) and topping up bird feed. I moved the feeders around a bit so that they can all be seen from the conservatory. I meant to try some pictures of the birds but the light has gone whilst my back was turned. Still we've passed the shortest day so each day is getting longer now.

Back to work tomorrow after a fortnight off, that'll be a bit of a shock to the system when the alarm goes off at 6am!
Still at least its an INSET day, children will be back on Tues.
