Swan Lake (aka River)

The swan seems to have chosen this part of the river as a haven, he's been swimming nearby for several days now, shame he's on his own though. I caught this image of him as he was swimming back upriver and was so taken by how he was holding his wings, you can see all of his feathers which I think are really striking. We've had beautiful sunshine most of the day, but I can hear the wind has got up considerably now.
