Birthday-girl

I began this wet and gloomy Sunday by going on a walk with a few friends from my photography club - and one little dog! - so I was refreshed and in a good mood when the birthday-party began. She'll be five years old next Tuesday and her mother and I are first cousins. It's always nice to keep in touch so a birthday is a great opportunity to meet the family.
She is usually camera-shy and I didn't take many photos, but here's a little smile when she was opening a birthday-present.
