All they had to do...

..was not pull silly faces. Honestly, my children are useless models!

A lazy morning then out agin for a walk in the sunshine - this is Cornwall, who knows when it could end! This time we walked over the hill, past Sainsburys and along the riverside - calling into the Greenbank for a coffee in memory of Ganggang who used to stay there with work many years ago.

After shopping for tonight's grand New Year's Eve tea, MrRoly caught a taxi home with Nanny and the big 2. Meanwhile I took the small two to Kimberely Park only it started raining, Red got hysterical* and we had to call for MrRoly to come and get us!

We spent a lovely evening with the children - champagne and canapés followed by melon or prawns as a starter, steak with potatoes dauphinoise for our main and cakes/Christmas pudding washed down with a bit of Bouletin. We all then sat and watched Monsters University together.

Happy New Year Blippers!

*Uncle Chris/Grandma - in the spirit of Disney, Red has not recovered from the hailstones in the hot tub and now gets a tad upset if he is out in anything that might turn into hail stones...
