Last steam train til....

...the spring.

Today the NYMR shuts down for a few months. Its really quite when its not running as I can hear the steam and the hoots from my house.

The wreath on the front of the engine is for the gentleman who help set the railway up in the 60s. Sadly him and his wife died within hours of each other on Christmas day. But what an amazing legacy to leave.
