A bit of an obstacle...

Today my friend T and I went on what is normally a very straightforward walk from West Linton Golf Course to Garvald along the Roman Road and back along a higher route.

However, there was a lot of evidence of the recent gales in the form of fallen trees. Some had been cleared but others hadn't, including this one. There wasn't an easy option - there was no way of going round it, so we tackled it, all six trunks - and won!
