Last glimpse

My porch, before it was de-Christmassed.

I'd forgotten how much work there is doing this! I reckon I must have spent something like two and a half hours taking everything down. I start with the best of intentions regarding bauble storage and careful winding of lights - and I end up just chucking it all in the crates exactly as I did last year :-)

I confess I have left the Nativity scene until tomorrow which is the actual Feast of the Epiphany. I feel that the Three Wise Men should get their place.

BTW, my porch isn't made from a giant barrel. I was trying out a new gadget for the iPhone. It has a fish-eye lens, a wide-angle lens and two macro lens. The macro lenses will be really useful for close up shots in the garden!
