Yellow Rose

Today is my least favourite day of the year.......the day the Christmas decorations came down

I always find it sad when the Christmas decorations come down. I miss the twinkling lights, they're so welcoming on a cold winters evening, and winter seems that little more bleak without them

As to the image, I thought the bright summery yellow of the rose is a ray of sunshine in the midst of winter.

I hope it's sunny colour will bring some relief to those of you also feeling those post Christmas blues
