Dogs in Coats

It was such a sunny morning, and was impossible to stay inside. G and I head over to Mum's and we all bundled up and drove down to Brightlingsea where we went for a long walk by the beach huts and along the coastal path; between the shore and the disused train line. When I was young, we used to walk our dogs along the path; one of the few places we were able to let our very independent Beagles off the lead. In a weird coincidence, there were hundreds of beagles out today.. surely a sign that I will finally get one of my own in 2014, right?! We had a really lovely day, and despite my plans to pack for the next few days away when I got home, I predictably left it all to do in the morning.
