Jawbone Walk

The four whale jaw bones were gifted by Shetland and Fair Isle Knitters to Edinburgh in 1887 and form an archway on the path across the Meadows from Marchmont. Apparently they are now deemed unsafe by the Council so the path underneath them has been closed and a fundraising effort is underway to save them.
