The Epiphany

Celebrated at Church today and ending with a rousing chorus of "Go tell it on the Mountain". Love that hymn!

So today is Twelfth Night and our tradition to giving thanks for the warmth and glow its given us over Christmas.

With all the carols being sung at mass, Reuben was still wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, warming hearts and making people smile. What a gift he has.

I thought of how in life we are somehow congratulated for our children's achievements. But in my opinion, we merely give a framework and the rest is up to them and nature. Otherwise, we'd all have to accept responsibility for all the tantrums and general rascalling behaviour. No thanks. Nature wins every time. Reuben, your love for mankind is entirely from your own heart.
