A Moment in Time

Tonight my sister and brother-in-law have been with us for a meal. We got round to talking about all the old family photos which are stored in her loft. My husband John has a bit of a 'thing' about photographs. He thinks that they're 'moments in time' which have been captured for ever and, as such, are very precious. Just after she left, I went upstairs and 'snapped' this old photo of my sister which is on the wall of my landing. The original was taken in about 1957. She was such a happy child and that trait has stayed with her. She still has that sunny smile and a disposition to match. I wonder what she was smiling at in that moment in time?
