Back to the sales

We went into town to spend Christmas book tokens - one of the parts of Christmas that is quite relaxing; a little time just to treat ourselves instead of thinking about everybody else. However the sales were still on so we did get hold of some heavily reduced stuff that will bolster our strategic stocks of presents for the future.

We both managed to get the sort of books we wouldn't normally buy (normally rejected on the basis of cost) and so felt properly indulged.
Emilance joined us later for coffee, then back home to watch an awesome episode of Sherlock.

The evening went downhill once CBB started, though.
