Little lichens

Again a really drab day, well it was by the time I surfaced any case.. In the back garden we have an old decaying gate post which is in shadow just about the whole time. Scattered over the top is a veritable forest of tiny lichens, the tallest of these is about 1cm. A bit of macro photography for the day when the lights not up to much else. My wife thought I'd lost it & was taking photos of golf tees... Now there's an idea
