Awash

We visited Brooklyn today in the company of a friend who has come to live in New York from Bosnia. Unfortunately, the iconic views weren't quite up to scratch. And while the thaw has now started, the streets started off completely treacherous because the melting yesterday had been followed by sub zero temperatures overnight.

But the bits of Brooklyn we did see were very pleasant, and Court Street in Cobble Hill offers many different eating opportunities, from which we chose Ethiopian at Awash Restaurant. This was delicious, and it was all served on and with a steamed bread made from pancake batter. And I should point out that this was shared with Mr A.
