Rodents rule

Running smoothly

It's official. Our new neighbours are fantastic. We met them properly for drinks up in their flat (right above our flat). We're a little taken aback that they don't work for MI6 (but then, if they did, would they tell us?) A great blether was had and afterwards we worked out a date when they could come down and play Scrabble. Oh yes, they like board games. Whoop!

We should have kept the doors open so that Whisky could come up and say "Hello", because he seemed anxious when we came back. He must have heard our voices and felt worried that we'd locked him out of some unchartered territory.

It's great to wear slippers to an evening out.

Earlier in the day we'd walked to Dulwich to attempt to see the Whistler exhibition at the Picture Gallery, but there was a 40-minute queue. Not keen on either queuing or being in a busy gallery, we postponed our visit yet again to, possibly, this Friday. Instead, we visited the Dulwich shops, browsing and coveting, especially in Village Books. This blip was taken while waiting for the train home.
