Ben Ohau

I'm at Lake Ohau for a long weekend with 5 mates. This is our "Boys' Weekend". We've brought all the toys (running gear, kayaks, road bikes, mountain bikes). The weather is stunning. Went for a run this morning up the Hopkins Valley (no tracks, braided river bed, snow capped mountains on 3 sides). Will get the kayaks out on the lake this afternoon. Tomorrow we helicopter to the top of this peak (Ben Ohau) and mountain bike down. I think I'm in heaven.
