A Wet Walk

This is the road outside our village hall today! People watched as tractors and 4x4 vehicles sloshed their way past, and someone took their boots off and waded through!
We were marooned, and couldn't even go out for a walk! Our family visitors are beginning to wonder if they will be able to go home to Cheshire tomorrow! And would we have enough provisions if they have to stay?!
I expect we would manage, but there is work, dentists, and pre-school all waiting for them on Monday, many miles away!
