Reading Corner

If you have been following my Blip Journal for very long, you know how this photo excites my heart. I had such a busy day of digitizing some old slides of my dad's, so Sugar had to entertain herself most of the day. After it had been awhile since I heard a peep from my girl, I went looking to see what she was up to. She had created a little cozy corner in her room, and was READING A CHAPTER BOOK! oh my granny! This surprised me, and made me leap for joy. My girl has been quite the reluctant reader for a few years, and I do not even remember the last time she picked up a book to read without being asked to do so. I'm thrilled! :)
