B.A.C.K. to Basics

Parade

Colby and Hunter worked together on making a float for their Maine Day Parade. Their topic was Mount Katahdin. Seeing as it's the largest mountain in Maine, it was only fitting that their float be the largest in the class.

We used our farm cart as the base, and the boys each made a section of the float. Colby did the animals, the campground, pond and trees, while Hunter did the Mountain.

It was fun to see all the floats as the kids paraded around the gymnasium. They all worked so hard and were so proud to show off their work.

The boys received A's on both the Poster and Float. Scoring 120 out of a possible 100 on both parts... I'd say they did pretty well.
