Frozen New Years Bubbles
Brrr... this Polar Vortex can head back up to the North Pole where it belongs!
The cold temps continue, today we're at -22*. BJ has started on shoveling the roof (I broke my shovel, and therefore have been excused from my duties - hooray for crappy plastic shovels!!), so the kids and I decided to freeze bubbles. We've done it before, and it's always something we look forward too when the weather turns this cold. It's awesome to watch as liquid becomes a solid before your eyes.
Next time, we're going to make our own snowstorm :) A hot mug of water thrown into the air (in bitterly cold temps). Perhaps that'll be next weeks science project :)
