Enjoying some wine brought by my mom directly from my region of France -- Alsace. Conveniently explains my blip moniker, doesn't it ;)

The Gewurtz is one of the best Alsatian wines, to be enjoyed either with foie gras or with one of the many wonderful French pastries for desert. If you see it in stores, grab a bottle (but make sure it is from the Alsace region in France, and not the cheap knock-off produced in Germany!)
